Steelers WR Quincy Morgan will return kicks in Week 6.

Seahawks WR DJ Hackett will play, but WR Peter Warrick will also see some time.

Browns RB Lee Suggs and WR Braylon Edwards are both out for Week 6.

WR Adnre Johnson of the Texans will be a game time decision, but traditional thinking leads one to believe that, since he was on a bike on Friday, that he will not play Sunday.

Saints WR Joe Horn will play on Sunday, but he probably will not be at full speed.

Steelers QB Tommy Maddox will probably start on Sunday, leaving Charlie Batch as QB2 and Ben Roethlisberger as QB3.

Bears RB Situation

It looks as if RB Thomas Jones will not be playing in Sunday's game, which leads to the question as to who will start for the Bears. Traditional thinking leads one to believe that rookie RB Cedric Benson will get the nod, but HC Lovie Smith said that RB Adrian Peterson deserves consideration.

In either case, expect to see some form of RBBC in Week 6.

Saints Acquire RB

The Saints have acquired RB Jesse Chatman from the Dolphins for an undisclosed draft pick. Chatman could quickly become the starter if he grabs control of the play book. He certainjly has more talent than both RBs Antowain Smith and Aaron Stecker.

Good News For Roethlisberger

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger suffered a hyperextended knee and a bone bruise in last night's game, which makes him questionable for his Week 6 game. We here at TCFS are not sure of his status as yet, but the Steelers are going on as if QB Charlie Batch will be under center on Sunday.

Roethlisberger Update

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has been all but ruled out of their Week 6 game. He was on crutches as he left the park, and with it already Tuesday, there seems to be little hope of Roethlisberger starting, or even playing at all.

Expect to see two things happen this week: The Steelers will name QB Charlie Batch their starter for Week 6, and they will almost certainly sign a free agent QB.

You can surely see the names of Ex-NFL players get mentioned here, such as QB Jeff George, but the team will probably go for a low priced young QB.

Steelers QB Situation

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger was carted off of the field Monday Night with an apparent knee injury. His status is as yet unknown.

QB Tommy Maddox will miss 3 to 4 Weeks with his injury, which leaves QB Charlie Batch as the team's starter if Roethlisberger cannot start in Week 6. Keep logging on to TCFS for more updates as they become available.

Rb Tony Fisher has been elevated to RB2 on the Packers depth chart.

WR Braylon Edwards is expected to miss the Browns Week 6 game.

TE Bubba Franks is expected to play in Week7.

QB Kurt Warner should be ready for the team's Week 7 game. However it is unkown if he will be QB1 or QB2 for the Cardinals upon his return.

Seahawks WR Situation

Seahawks WR Darrell Jackson is expected to miss 4 to 6 weeks after having surgery, and WR Bobby Engram expects to miss 1 or 2 more weeks with his injury.

In the meantime, if the team does not sign a WR, Joe Jurevicius will be WR1 and DJ Hackett will be WR2.

Holcomb May have Earned Another Start.

Although Kelly Holcomb did not much to distinguish himself he did do enough to get the Bills a much needed win against a division foe. Holcomb was however able to get the ball in space to Lee Evans for a nice gain to set up the Bills first TD and later found Eric Moulds for a short TD pass. It is almost a guarantee that when the Bills announce their starting QB later in the week it will again be Kelly Holcomb.

TCFS Breaking News - Deuces Are Not Wild

Saints RB Deuce McAllister apparently has a torn ACL in his knee, and will almost definitely be out for the season. This is a tough break, as the Saints stud is also a fantasy stud, and many team's #1 RB. RB Aaron Stecker and RB Antowain Smith will benefit from the injury, but neither is in McAllister's elite status category.

Davenport Done For The Season

Green Bay Packer's running back Najeh Davenport will miss the remainder of the season after breaking his ankle late in the first half of the Packer's 52-3 blowout of the New Orleans Saints. Davenport was playing well in his frist start of the season, with 54 yards on 12 carries. He had also scored 2 touchdowns. Ahman Green should return to the Packer's starting lineup in two weeks after their bye week and will be backed up by Tony Fisher.

WR Edwardss Out For Long Term ?

Unconfirmed reports out of the Cleveland area state that Browns WR Braylon Edwards has a staph infection which could keep him out for up to eight weeks. Stay tuned on this to learn more as it unfolds.

Najeh Davenport RB Green Bay started in place of Ahman Green(out with a knee injury) but left the game with a right foot injury. Davenport scored 2 TD's before he was replaced by RB Tony Fisher and RB Rashard Lee.

Patriots Defense to Miss Another Star

The NE Patriots Defense/ST took another hit as DT Richard Seymour will miss todays game due to a knee injury he suffered last week v. San Diego. The Patriots are pretty tight lipped in regard to their team injuries so it is not known the extent of the injury or when Seymour may return to the lineup.

Bears Tryout 5 More Kickers

It sure appears as thoug K Doug Brien has played his last game in Chicago, as the team brought in Ks Steve Christie, Martin Gramatica, Tim Seder, Robby Gould and Carter Warley. They also have K Tyler Jones signed. Brien is questionable to play this week.

Of those 5, the team signed Robby Gould, who was probably the least expensive option.
