It is unknown as yet as to the amount of time Mathis will lose as a result of this injury. EFF Take: Mathis is a solid performer for the Taxans. May 30, 2006Ricky Williams To Play In The CFLRicky Williams RB Miami signed a 1 year deal with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL (Canadian Football League) according to the Miami Herald. Williams signed a deal for a reported $240,000 and will not be eligible to join the Dolphins until his suspension ends for the 2007 season.

May 15, 2006Younger Vick to South Beach?Former Viginia Tech and now FA QB Marcus Vick may be close to signing a deal with the Miami Dolphins according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and Palm Beach Post. HC Nick Saban would like for Vick to try his hand at the WR position but Vick wants to be a QB. The Toronto Argonauts have also been in touch with Vick and want him to play QB for them. This is an interesting dilema for Vick because the rookie minimum contract in the NFL is $275,000 something that the Argonauts will not be able to match.

He will almost certainly be the team's QB2 in 2006 and serve as insurance for QB1 Daunte Culpepper, who is often injured. FVI 2 Harrington only gets a 2 because he is only of value to owners of Daunte Culpepper, and should be piggybacked with him without a doubt in 2006.

FVI 3 Smith always seems to get into a situation where he is backing up a RB who gets injured. Smith got his chances in Tennessee when RB Chris Brown got hurt, then in New Orleans when RB Deuce McAllister went down. With the injury prone nature of Davis, Smith should get another shot in Houston.
