The Raiders are looking to trade RB Lamont Jordan. They are also looking to sign a veteran QB, and it could possibly be Trent Dilfer or Daunte Culpepper.

The Rams have released TE Dominique Byrd.

Dolphins Acquire TE

The Dolphins acquired TE Anthony Fasano from the Cowboys for a 4th round draft choice.

The Bengals At #9....

The Bengals are looking at DT Sedrick Ellis with their #9 pick, but if Ellis is off the board, the team might look at RB Rashard Mendenhall with the #9.

The Bills Pick At #11....

Keeping with their plan to grab a WR at #11, the Bills are currently entertaining the possibility of selecting WR Devin Thomas.

The Falcons At #3....

The Falcons have stated that they will not select QB Matt Ryan. They could just be posturing, as it seems like a no brainer for the Dirty Birds to grab Ryan, but the Falcons might trade down or select DT Sedric Ellis.

Alexander News

FA RB Shaun Alexander has stated that he would like to play for the Patriots or Colts. The Lions still remain the pick of choice from the guys at EFF for Alexander.

IDP News - Cowboys Acquire CB

The Cowboys acquired CB Pacman Jones from the Titans for a 4th round pick in 2008. The Titans will also receive a pick in 2009 from the Cowboys if the NFL reinstates Jones this season.

Dolphins Looking At More 1st Rounders

The Dolphins are thinking about trading back into the 1st round to select one of these four players: QBs Chad Henne or Joe Flacco, DE Derrick Harvey, and DE/LB Quentin Groves. Harvey will be gone by pick #8, but the other three should be there around pick #25.

If He's Available At #23....

If RB Jonathan Stewart is available at #23, which is a big IF, the Steelers are almost certain to draft him. He is almost certain to be gone by then though.

Bears Re-Sign WR

The Bears have re-signed WR Rashied Davis to a three year contract.

Packers Meeting With QB

FA QB Daunte Culpepper has a met with the Packers on Wednesday. There is no word on whether the Pack will sign him to be their QB2.

The Patriots are looking hard at CB Ty Law, Even though he is 38, he would be a welcome addition to the AFC Champs. The Jets are also looking into possibly of signing Law.

The Seahawks have released RB Shaun Alexander. The Colts, Ravens, or Lions are sure to sign him.

The Redskins are looking at WRs Malcolm Kelly, Limas Sweed, and Jordy Nelson.

The Falcons are leaning toward drafting QB Matt Ryan.

The Saints could take DE Sedrick Ellis with theit #10 pick.

The Packers could be interested in TE Martellus Bennett.

The Titans could look toward the direction of WRs Limas Sweed and DeSean Jackson in the NFL Draft.

WR Donnie Avery could be a top 40 pick.

If he falls to #8, the Ravens will surely take QB Matt Ryan.

The Lions and Panthers reportedly think RB Jonathan Stewart will be a better NFL RB than RB Rashard Mendehall.

The Dolphins have signed OT Jake Long to a six year contract, making him the #1 pick of the 2008 NFL Draft. The Rams will now have the second pick, and they are looking at DT Glenn Dorsey and DE Chris Long.

Ravens Announce Retirement

Ravens QB Steve McNair has announced his retirement from the NFL. QBs Kyle Boller and Troy Smith will probably fight it out to be the team's new QB1 for 2008. Expect the team to draft a QB in the NFL Draft next week.

Ravens Lose TE For Year

With a torn ACL, the Ravens wil be without TE Quinn Sypniewski for the year. TE Daniel Wilcox will be the team's TE2 for the upcoming season.
