Dolphins QB Josh McCown needed six stitches in his finger when he was accidentally cut by his brother. Who knows what lies in store for the Dophins QBs but any bad news can't be good.

Bears RB Kevin Jones probably will not be more than a RB3 this season as it looks like he may begin the season on the PUP List. RBs Matt Forte and Adrian Peterson should not see to many carries lost due to this signing as was originally thought.

It looks like Colts WR Marvin Harrison should be at top form for a 36 year old when the Colts season starts.

Jones Signs

The Bears have signed RB Kevin Jones to a one year deal. He should immediately be in the running for a starting job.

More Favre News

Another day, and more news on QB Brett Favre. Reports are now floating around that the Packers won't trade him to an NFC team, and that Favre does not like the Tampa area. Stay tuned, but it would seem likely that playing this year may be too much of a big deal, and Favre may just remain retired.

If He's Available At #12, Grab Him

It is doubtful that Redskins RB Clinton Portis will be around for a late round selection, but if he is there at #10-12, take him as early reports out of Washington are that Portis will get a lot of work.

FA RB Kevin Jones is expected to sign with either the Bears or Steelers on Tuesday. Everyone in the fantasy world would like to see Jones signed by the Bears, as the Steelers would probably not prove to be a great fantasy scenario for him.

Colts QB Peyton Manning underwent surgery due to bursitis in his left knee. He is expected to be sidelined from 4-6 weeks, but is expected to be ready for the Colts Week 1 game against the Bears.
