Keeping with their plan to grab a WR at #11, the Bills are currently entertaining the possibility of selecting WR Devin Thomas.
The Falcons have stated that they will not select QB Matt Ryan. They could just be posturing, as it seems like a no brainer for the Dirty Birds to grab Ryan, but the Falcons might trade down or select DT Sedric Ellis.
The Dolphins are thinking about trading back into the 1st round to select one of these four players: QBs Chad Henne or Joe Flacco, DE Derrick Harvey, and DE/LB Quentin Groves. Harvey will be gone by pick #8, but the other three should be there around pick #25.
If RB Jonathan Stewart is available at #23, which is a big IF, the Steelers are almost certain to draft him. He is almost certain to be gone by then though.
The Jets could also select QB Matt Ryan if they remain at #6.
The Broncos are looking at RB Jonathan Stewart.
The Redskins are looking at WRs Malcolm Kelly, Limas Sweed, and Jordy Nelson.
The Falcons are leaning toward drafting QB Matt Ryan.
The Saints could take DE Sedrick Ellis with theit #10 pick.
The Packers could be interested in TE Martellus Bennett.
The Titans could look toward the direction of WRs Limas Sweed and DeSean Jackson in the NFL Draft.
WR Donnie Avery could be a top 40 pick.
If he falls to #8, the Ravens will surely take QB Matt Ryan.
The Lions and Panthers reportedly think RB Jonathan Stewart will be a better NFL RB than RB Rashard Mendehall.
The Dolphins have signed OT Jake Long to a six year contract, making him the #1 pick of the 2008 NFL Draft. The Rams will now have the second pick, and they are looking at DT Glenn Dorsey and DE Chris Long.
There are rumors that the Patriots will move up in the draft in order to take DT Glenn Dorsey.
The Raiders will probably look hard at RB Darren McFadden with the #4 pick in this month's draft.
Here it is, the 2008 NFL Mock Draft. Complete with all seven rounds, including compensatory picks !!
2008 NFL Mock Draft - All Seven Rounds !!
OT Jake Long is expected to be drafted #1 by Miami, but if not, he will most likely be gone by pick 3 or 4.
Oregon RB Jonathan Stewart has had surgery and is expected to miss 4 to 6 months. This news should keep him from being drafted in the first round.
Delaware QB Joe Flacco is positioning himself into a possible spot in the first round of next month's NFL Draft.
The top 2 WRs expected to be taken off the board in April's NFL Draft are Malcolm Kelly and DeSean Jackson.
LSU DT Glenn Dorsey's stock in the NFL Draft may be dropping due to the fact that he has had a history of nagging injuries. This may drop him out of the top 5 next month.
The fastest TE at the combine was Purdue's Dustin Kellar. He ran a 4.55 in the 40, and, coupled with his other great workouts, should put him in the top 3 or 4 rounds of the draft.
With a subpar combine, it is time to drop Notre Dame TE John Carlson down to the last 2nd or 3rd round.
Michigan T Jake Long is an excllent prospect and should almost be a top 5 pick in this year's NFL Draft.
While we here at EFF think that the Bills will choose Cal WR DeSean Jackson, there is growing speculation that the Bills will choose Oklahoma WR Malcolm Kelly. Either WR will be an upgrade to their WR2 status they currently have.
The Cowboys are reportedly interested in Arkansas RB Darren McFadden, but it is amost a lock that the Falcons will take McFadden with the #3 pick.
Here are a few of the names that are going pro early in April's NFL Draft:
RB Daren McFadden and RB Felix Jones, Arkansas.
RB Steve Slaton, West Virginia
RB Rashard Mendenhall, Illinois
RB Jonathan Stewart, Oregon
WR Mario Manningham and WR Adrian Arrington, Michigan
WR Malcolm Kelly, Oklahoma
Indiana WR James Hardy will enter the 2008 NFL Draft in April.
Hawaii WR Devane Bees will enter the 2008 NFL Draft in April.
Florida TE Cornelius Ingram has declared himself eligible for the 2008 Draft.
Texas RB Jamaal Charles has declared himself eligible for the NFL Draft in April.
With a top 5 pick inevitable, the Rams will probably look to one of these 5 guys in the 2008 draft:
1. Darren McFadden* (RB)
2. Glenn Dorsey, (DT)
3. Chris Long (DE)
4. Jake Long (T)
5. Matt Ryan (QB)
If Dorsey or Chris Long are there, this would be a no-brainer for the Rams.

There are some in the football world that think that the Panthers will select Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn with the #14 pick, but most of us here at EFF think that Quinn will be off the board well before pick #14.
The Ravens might be looking for a big RB in the NFL Draft, and they could be looking at either Michael Bush (Louisville), Marshawn Lynch (Cal), or Brandon Jackson (Nebraska).
The Packers are reportedly interested in a WR at pick #16, and they could be interested specifically in WRs Dwayne Jarrett (USC), Sydney Rice (South Carolina) and Robert Meachem (Tennessee).
The Bucs are reportedly interested in Rutgers RB Brian Leonard, after his performance in the Senior Bowl.
The pick for the Panthers at #14 in the NFL Draft could possibly be OT Levi Brown of Penn State.

It is possible that the Panthers and Ravens would be interested in QB Troy Smith, but both would probably not go any higher than a 2nd round pick for the Ohio State QB.
Ohio State WR Anthony Gonzalez will forego his final season of college eligibility and enter the NFL Draft in April. Gonzalez will probably be off the draft board by the end of the second round, and a team like the Browns might want to keep the Ohio native home.
Notre Dame RB Darius Walker will give up his final year of college eligibility and enter the NFL Draft in April. He is not expected to be a first round pick, but is expected to be picked by the 3rd round.
Oklahoma RB Adrian Peterson will skip his final year of NCAA eligibility and enter the NFL Draft in April...He is expected to be a Top 7 pick.
USC WR Dwayne Jarrett is expected to forego his final year of college eligibility and declare himself eligible for the 2007 NFL Draft in April. He is expectedto be a first round draft pick.
Arizona State TE Zach Miller has decided to leave Arizona State and enter the NFL Draft in April. He is reportedly coveted by the Vikings and Raiders and will almost certainly be picked by some team within the first two rounds.
Louisville RB Michael Bush will give up his senior season of NCAA eligibility and enter the NFL Draft in April. Bush will probably be a 1st round pick.
Georgia Tech WR Calvin Johnson will forego his senior season and enter the NFL Draft in April. He is a certain 1st rounder and probably a top 7 pick.
The Brwons are reportedly interested in drafting Wisconsin OT Joe Thomas with the #3 pick.
If the Raiders select LSU QB Jamarcus Russell the Lions will probably trade their #2 pick or select Michigan DT Alan Branch.
Rumors are starting to circulate that the Raiders will select LSU QB Jamarcus Russell with the #1 pick.

The Broncos have traded their 22nd pick in the NFL Draft to the 49ers for the 37th pick in the 2nd round and the 68th pick in the 3rd round. The Broncos have seven picks in the first four rounds and the 49ers now have 2 picks in the first round. This trade appears to have helped both teams.
Here is an article with 6 separate mock drafts in one article, but remember, Expert Fantasy Football breaks it out into 7 rounds. The following article is courtesy of USA Today. Click here
NCAA QB turned Athlete Michael Robinson visited with the Dolphins recently. Robinson is reported as being dreafted as a QB, S, or WR. He could be used in the same vein as Antwaan Randle-El and his predecessor, Kordell Stewart. Robinson is not expected to be drafted until the later rounds however. Expert Fantasy Football has Robinson going to the Saints in the 6th Round.
The top NCAA QBs met NFL teams over the past week.
QB Vince Young met with the Vikings and Jets
QB Matt Leinart met with the Jets
QB Jay Cutler met with the Jets
The Raiders and Broncos are rumored to be trading up in the NFL draft to pick their coveted players. The Raiders are rumored to be longing for QB Matt Leinart, while the Broncos are coveting TE Vernon Davis. Both players are expected to be Top 10 picks.
Although the Pats have signed K Martin Gramatica, there is speculation that the team could draft a K during the upcoming NFL Draft. The more obvious choices are Ohio State K Josh Huston and Memphis K Stephen Gostkowski.
It looks more and more likely that either Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler or USC QB Matt Leinart will be the Titans pick in the NFL Draft. Cutler visited with the team for a third time recently, and Leinart is a favorite of OC Norm Chow. EFF thinks that the Titans will draft Leinart, but the situation is worth watching.

Texas QB Vince Young is expected to visit with the Dolphins on April 9-10. He would surely be drafted by the Dolphins if he were available at #16, which is highly unlikely.

Stanford WR Justin McCullum measured in at 6'3" and weighed 219 pounds. He ran the 40 in 4.61 seconds.
UAB Wr Reginald Lindsay measured in at 5'9 1/8" and weighed 180 pounds. He ran the 40 in 4.52 seconds.
Nevada WR Nichiren Flowers was clocked at 4.71 seconds in the 40 yard dash. He was measured at 6'1 7/8" and weighed 202 pounds.
Boston College QB Quinton Porter ran the 40 in 4.60 and was measured at 6'4 1/2" and weighed 230 pounds.
The Browns have traded Safety Chris Crocker to the Falcons for a 4th round draft pick in 2006.
There were a few superstars at the Notre Dame Pro Day Workout. They included:
TE Anthony Fasano ran the 40 in 4.71.
WR Maurice Stovall ran the 40 in 5.54 and had a 10'4" broad jump to go along with his 32.5" vertical leap.
WR Matt Shelton ran the 40 in 4.42 seconds.
There were a few stars at the University's Pro Day workout. They include:
WR Jonathan Orr ran the 40 in a blazing 4.25.
RB Brian Calhoun also blazed his way to a 4.38 40 yard dash.
FB Matt Bernstein ran a 4.80 40 and bench pressed 225 pounds 25 times.

Results from the NFL Combine:
Regarding the Tight Ends, the tallest was Leonard Pope of Georgia; the shortest was Tony Scheffler of Western Michigan; the heaviest was TJ Williams of North Carolina State; and the lightest was Garrett Mills of Tulsa.
LSU RB Joseph Addai turned in a 40 time of 4.37 seconds, easily the fastest RB at the Combine. He should be a 2nd round or early 3rd round pick in the NFL Draft.
There is no question that TE Vernon Davis of Maryland will be a Top 10 selection in the 2006 NFL Draft, but where will the rest of the good TEs be drafedt. EFF breaks down the top 20 Tight Ends and the Top 5 Kickers in this article.
Top 20 Rookie Tight Ends and Top 5 Kickers
Chad Jackson of Florida ran the 40 in 4.36, the fastest of all WRs at the NFL Combine. There were some other fast WR prospects in Indianapolis, including:
Willie Reid of Florida State, 4.37
Jeff Webb of San Diego State, 4.41
Sinorice Moss of Miami (FL), 4.43
Will Blackmon of Boston College, 4.45.
All will undoubtedly be drafted at some point in the NFL Draft in April.
A few QBs really shined at the NFL Combine, and there really were some speedy QBs to come out of Indianapolis.
Texas A&M QB Reggie McNeal turned in a 4.37 40 time. If he does not make it at QB in the NFL, he could surely be on a team's roster as a Wide Receiver or a Special Teamer.
Brad Smith of Missouri ran the 40 in 4.53. Brad Gradkowski of Toledo ran the 40 in 4.62 seconds, and incidentally, there are nore than one person that thinks Gradkowski is reminiscent of Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger. Gradkowski's stock appeared to have risen as a result of the NFL Combine.
Two other QBs of note turned in some pretty fast 40 times. Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler ran the 40 in 4.78 and Alabama QB Brodie Croyle turned in a 4.84 40. Cutler is a sure fire 1st round pick, and Croyle will be a late 1st rounder or a 2nd round pick almost certainly.
The NFL Combine surely showcased some fast running backs. Two of the most notable were a couple guys who ran times of 4.40 in the 40. They were Jerius Norwood of Mississippi State, and Leon Washington of Florida State.
Although traditional thinking is that Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler will be drafted around pick #16 in the 1st round, there are rumblings around the NFL that he will be gone well before that.
The Saints are reported to be coveting Cutler's talents, and could conceivably select him with the #2 pick, giving the Titans their wish of grabbing USC QB Matt Leinart at #3, and dropping Texas QB Vince Young out of the Top 5. Young's stock has been steadily dropping in the past few weeks, and the Cutler rumor is not very far fetched at all.
Four TEs showed some real speed out of that position and will probably all get drafted because of that feat. Maryland TE Vernon Davis ran a 4.37 40, a time only eclipsed by 2 WRs, and easily the fastest time ever ran by a TE at the Combine.
Georgia's Leonard Pope ran the 40 in 4.53, Western Michigan's Tony Scheffler in 4.56, and Garrett Mills of Tulsa in 4.57.
There is question that the star of the NFL Combine was Maryland TE Vernon Davis. He ran the 40 in under 4.4 and had a good day with the nemch press. There should be no question that Davis will be a top 10 pick in April.
Everyone knows that Santonio Holmes is the top WR in the NCAA Draft pool, but who is #25. EFF answers that question with an early look at the top 25 WRs.
USC RB Reggie Bush has reportedly put on 8 pounds since the end of the season, with the help of a workout regimen and a personal chef. He is possibly bulking up so that he can sustain the rigors of an NFL season, a feat few rookie RBs are able to accomplish..
The Vikings are reportedly in the market for a RB, after telling RB Michael Bennett that he will not be back with the team for the 2006 season. One RB they are reportedly interested in drafting is Laurence Maroney from the University of Minnesota.
Texas QB Vince Young has ocnfirmed that he will not workout at the NFL Combine this week.
Texas QB Vince Young has won the Davey O'Brien Award as the NCAA's top QB for the 2005 season. He was selected for the award over former Heisman Trophy winner USC QB Matt Leinart.
Here is a great pre-combine ranking list, and included is some great insight, courtesy of Gil Brandt of NFL.com. Click Here
It looks as if QBs Vince Young and Matt Leinart will not participate in the NFL Combine. That leaves QB Jay Cutler as the top QB at the event. He should go no later than pick 16 in the draft no matter how he performs in Indianapolis.
